Freezall Pro-Plug kits are the economical and professional way to isolate piping Freezeall Specifications FREEZALL KITS Portable Do-It-Yourself Pipe-Freezing Equipment Freezeall Specifications EASY TO USE A Freezall pipe freezing jacket is attached to the pipe and connected with a hose to a CO2 cylinder. Liquid carbon dioxide is injected into the space between the jacket and the pipe. This forms solid carbon dioxide (CO2), "dry ice", at -109 degrees F (-78 degrees C). The water in the pipe freezes into a solid "ice plug" which isolates the selected area of piping. When the work is complete, the Freezall jacket and "dry ice" are removed and the freeze plug is allowed to thaw. The line is back in operation in a short time. Freezall works safely and effectively on steel, copper, and iron pipes. BASIC EQUIPMENT - SIMPLE TO USE Freezall kits include insulated pipe jackets, reinforced high pressure hoses, fittings, CO2 cylinders, gloves, rubber mallet, operating instructions, and carrying case. Freezall jackets, hoses and parts are made with standard fittings and are interchangeable with most brands of CO2 pipe freezing kits. Freezall CO2 cylinders are aluminum for lightweight portability and all are equipped with permanent valve seals to eliminate the need for Teflon washers. The 20 lb. cylinder (FA 20) comes with a Lexan carrying handle. The 50 lb. cylinder (FA 50) comes with a valve cover. All Freezall CO2 cylinders are equiped with a siphon tube.
